Hello, I'm Giulietta, an instructor trained by Move it or Lose it.
What is my class like?

A Move it or Lose it class is similar to other aerobics classes, with some major differences. There is no high-impact movement (no jumping, to be kind to joints). We focus on improving balance.

Our warm up is to music, which dance-lovers will enjoy. Balance exercises follow, then strength training with resistance bands, and a cool down, stretch at the end. All exercises take into account common senior ailments such as osteoporosis, COPD and heart conditions.

I tend to have regulars in my class who come for years! We have a coffee outing once a month. Whether you just want to pop in to a class when you can, or attend one weekly, there's a space for you.

My Background:

I completed the Move it or Lose it instructor training in Oct 2020. My continuing professional development led to further certificates in Heart Health, Balance Training, and understanding Osteoperosis and Sarcopenia. My background in science (I have a PhD in Molecular and Cell Biology) along with my extensive experience in dance, aerobics and yoga have all contributed to the way I teach. I particularly enjoy seeing people improve while enjoying themselves.
