Story Club - A Writing Workshop for pre-teens and young teens
Tuesday on Zoom
Young Writers are invited to my online creative writing workshop. We explore one theme or creative writing tool in each one-hour session. The atmosphere is fun and supportive. Young writers are welcome to bring their own stories, or create new ones.
Zoom: Tuesdays 4:00-5:00 pm GMT fortnightly
12-16 yrs. £10 per session, £7 concessions.

About Me
I've been writing since I was little. I love themes of friendship, courage and magic. Over twenty years ago, I moved to Cambridge, England from the US. My characters face themes of growing up and finding their own 'powers'. In The Element Girls, four friends have the power of earth, fire, air and water in an adventure set in magical Hawaii. In The Ice Giant, which won a Purple Dragonfly Award, Elika must find a way to save a lonely giant without putting herself in danger. Themes of friendship and courage are prevalent in these books.

I'm Italian-American and a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI). I have completed the 1 year course in Writing Fiction for Children and Young Adults by the Golden Egg Academy, London.
