My Author Journey
I'm Italian-American and have called Cambridge, UK my home since 2002. Themes of friendship, courage and the natural world are important to me. My books range from The Cat Who Ate The Moon, for 3 yrs and up, to The Element Girls, a magical adventure for 9-12 yrs. My creative writing training includes the 1- year course 'Writing for Children and Young Adults' at the Golden Egg Academy, London. My children's books are published by an independent, traditional publishing house Handersen Publishing in Lincoln, Nebraska. Before that, I wrote fun, light-hearted adventures for Books To Go Now. The Ice Giant won a Purple Dragonfly Book Award in 2021. I've been writing (and reading) all my life. I love sharing my creative inspiration and skills with young writers. I run a Zoom Story Club for teens. I also enjoy giving school visits and participating in Local Author events (in Cambridge, UK). I share writing tips and stories on my blog.
